South London native Dornik releases his debut album on PMR Records / Island. Dornik escaped from hometown Croydon to play drums for Jessie Ware - she heard his demos and dragged him out of the shadows even further to get him signed to her label, PMR where he released four well-received singles. This is smooth and easy funk with a nerve-tinglingly light touch. Well-dressed sophisticated pop-friendly disco with falsetto dance grooves, '80s synth whizz chicanery and a glistening vocal delivery. Perfect sounds for summer days and margarita nights.
