The first release from the Crush Music label is Weezer's self-titled, tenth studio album (referred to as The White Album). The album was inspired by the Westside of Los Angeles and the Beach Boys - it's full to the brim with gorgeous melodies, pop chord progressions, harmonies galore, orchestration and good time vibes. Opener 'California Kids' is classic surf pop whilst 'Do You Wanna Get High' is more Cuomo's punk song with lyrics about a struggle with prescription drugs.
