Los Nachos

Turn It Up

Label: Neurosonic Release Date: 27/11/2000

jmoore by James Moore November 27th, 2000

Looking for a decent rock band that aren’t from America?

Well Manchester’s Los Nachos are that band you’ve been desperately

searching for and their debut album ‘Turn It Up’ is a must buy.

Los Nachos have taken The Stooges epic ‘Raw Power’ and given it an update for the 21st century. They’ve managed to create the same intensity and aggression whilst adding a modern British feel to it. Chris Bowers’ indistinguishable vocals and random yelps are very Iggy-esque; in fact Bower’s could be Iggy’s bastard son.

With songs like ‘Gotstahave’, ‘I, Casanova’ and ‘Natural’, Los Nachos are bound to go far.
