This came as a bit of a surprise because the local-band-CDR-singles I normally hear are unmitigated shite. Boomhauer are a little different though, mainly because they sound more geared up for the American radio-friendly rock than most bands in this country. Major labels looking for the next Matchbox 20 or Everclear may want to look here. Boomhauer have that confidence and that little extra which makes them stand out. Not really my 'bag', baby, but who I am to argue with all the people who'll buy this sort of thing in their droves. Expect them on 'TRL' by this time next year.
