Ach… I can’t be arsed. Draw your own conclusions. There have been approximately 20,864 bands like this since the early ‘80s, if not more. It’s great though. If you were a fanzine kid in the late ‘90s then you would’ve been over this like a rash. Move over Disco Pistol, your time is up! Get lost, Kenickie, coz Darling have come to piss on your cornflakes! Or something.

Bad things: at times it threatens to move into the arena of The Bland. Make room, make room – this isn’t the best medium for them to showcase whatever personality they may have. It IS just a demo though, so relax.

Good things: the first track is called ‘Eyecandy’. The last track, ‘This Time You Lose’, is the one with the Ready Brek glow. It made me go “coo!” And it made me smile.

Not bad at all.
