My Vitriol

Vapour Trails

Label: Infectious Release Date: 15/10/2001

pamuk by Pam Leader October 17th, 2001

London based My Vitriol are back with a brand new single which sees the young foursome visiting common ground with that extra little bite.

Accompanied by their trademark atmospheric twinges, Vapour Trails has a harder sound to that which is heard on the debut, Finelines. In comparison, it is closest to album favourite Losing Touch, which incidently is one of their most popular songs.

Instantly recognisable as a My Vitriol track, Som and co. have a tune that hints at The Cure, with maybe a touch of Seafood. A strong intro, a sinister verse and a harsh bridge followed by a scrumptious chorus that just begs you to take another bite out of the My Vitriol pie. Yum.
