"I feel like life is like braided hair...", oh dear. Spoken intro aside this is an interesting second bite from the One Giant Leap project, the first being the Robbie Williams/Maxi Jazz effort. The vocalist on here is less contemporary but equally famous, one Speach from Arrested Development. Musically there is very much an Arrested' feel to the track, a laid back beat, a chorus of uplifting gospel-style singing, and a gliding beat. Lyrically it's an 'if we all come together we'll be better people' kind of vibe, noble but pretty much rendered meaningless for all it's cliche'd calls. Still, a sound radio tune for the summer.
