Television Personalities

All The Young Children On Crack

Label: Domino Records Release Date: 06/02/2006

12356
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay January 29th, 2006

Some things have been around for donkey's years but not many can claim to have been there before the proverbial ass was first conceived. Step forward one Dan Treacy, main Television Personality and all round bastion of that millstone known as "indie pop".

The saying "been there, done that, bought the t-shirt" doesn't quite do the TV Personalities justice. Sadly, neither does this (anti?) social commentary, not that it can be really considered offensive in any way either.

Sounding like a low budget take on Queen's 'Radio Ga Ga', Treacy repeats the songtitle over and over again throughout, adding "...they deserve much better" at the end. How true.
