This weekend, BBC 6 Music hosted the second stage of Latitude festival, and they had their cameras out on the main stage too. Here are a few highlights from the weekend that they've shared with us, for you to see:»
With BBC 6Music taking over the second stage from the Word magazine (RIP), they've gone Latitude crazy, and set-up their big trucks to broadcast live sets from the Main Stage and their own 6Music tent. They also have most of the 6Music shows coming atcha live, plus special shows hosted by Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamacq (who'll have Kraftwerk's set!).»
On Tuesday 23rd July 2013, psychedelic rock'n'rollers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club play with support guests Dexters and IEPI! for Converse Gigs @ 100 Club. It's one of the hottest tickets in town, and we've teamed up with Converse to give away a pair of tickets, along with a signed copy of their 7th album Specter At The Feast and a signed poster (see below) for this sold out show.»

"On July 25th 2009 we headed our way from Seyðisfjörður towards the Dalatangi Lighthouse (far-east Iceland) in our van, loaded with all our instruments through narrow, steep roads and miles of fjords and heaths where not a trace of human inhabitants could be found. Rather than sending the band some inane questions, we thought it would be far more interesting to ask that rather eloquent so-and-so Scott Hutchison to keep a diary for us, documenting their adventures in the US of A. Once again they've delivered an incredible list of names, featuring legends like Kraftwerk (in 3D?!) to DiS favourites including Cat Power, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foals, Bloc Party, Efterklang, CocoRosie, Villagers, Mum, Japandroids, Maccabees, Everything Everything, Modest Mouse and Hot Chip. They've also got the makers of some of 2013's recommended DiS albums, such as Daughter, Wave Machines and Hookworms. Then there's the likes of Dylan Moran, Germaine Greer, and spoken word sets from Thurston Moore and Tracey Thorn?! And so much more.»
