Yes Boss

See It Through

Label: Dance To The Radio Release Date: 29/01/2007

20287
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay January 30th, 2007

Four singles in and still the jury hasn't made its mind up about Leeds chindie duo Yes Boss.

Sure, they can fire off several hundred words a minute ranging from random insults to unashamed boasts, and although their stylings emanate from a caucasian variant of hip-hop soundbites, it would probably be fair to say the band's hearts lie with the DIY philosophies of punk.

Sadly, 'See It Through' isn't their most exciting three minutes to date, and is infinitely more forgettable than the yet-to-be-bettered ode to playing away of_ 'They Think It's All Over'_.

While there's still time for Yes Boss to make an impact somewhere along the line, it must be said that the clock governing their stay of execution is ticking away incessantly as we speak.
