Fortuna Pop! is Ten. Come celebrate!
crablin by Colin Roberts August 11th, 2006

Fortuna POP! turns ten and throws three-day party. Check it!

DiS has a few pet indie labels that it will always take the time to appreciate new output from and Fortuna POP! are one of those labels, for sure.

Over the years, F-POP! have given us releases from the likes of Cannonball Jane, Bearsuit (pictured), Retro Spankees and the Australian pop perfection of The Lucksmiths.

To celebrate ten years of "love, ineptitude and independence," the label is decking out London's best live music venue, The Luminaire for three days of exceptional music from their roster and beyond.

Take a look at the details below and buy tickets by clicking here and searching for the relevant date (£8 each), or a season ticket for £21.

Tuesday 29th August
Bearsuit + Cannonball Jane (feat The Actionettes) + Milky Wimpshake + The Loves
Compere: Dr CocaColaMcDonalds
DJs: Spiral Scratch

Wednesday 30th August
The Lucksmiths + The Would-Be-Goods + Airport Girl + Fanfarlo
Compere: Darren Hayman
DJs: Dimestore Disco

Thursday 31st August
The Butterflies Of Love + Comet Gain + The Chemistry Experiment + Finlay
Compere: MJ Hibbett
DJs: Track & Field

If I haven't already stated it elsewhere, I'd like to proclaim my absolute overriding excitement at the UK arrival of The Lucksmiths - my love for which I'm unable to actually measure.
