Norwegian hip-hop outfit Gatas Parlament (no, us neither) are moving the hosting of their website, which advocated the assassination of the recently re-elected George W Bush after Oslo police were pursuaded by US officials to close it down.
The band maintain that their site is/was satirical, and not an invitation to take pot shots at the president. They now hope to host it outside of Norway, but numerous ISPs haved wised up to them and are being more than a little frosty in returning their calls.
If it's still up, you can find the site here.
The band made a statement on their site to this effect:
"Two weeks has passed
since Norwegian police closed our site on orders from the US Embassy in
Norway without them telling us anything or even notifying us. It's our
opinion that they have no right to close our site down, and that whether or
not the page is up has no influence on George W Bushs actual safety. We have
decided to go on with our campaign and has moved it out of Norway. We
encourage people to make copies of our site, granted that you don't alter
our content. Stay tuned. "
