Beardy Glastonbury man Michael Eavis, pictured, has told fans of the festival that their new ticketing system - the ticket-buyer will need to submit a passport-style photograph of themself - is much fairer than anything done in previous years.
The pre-registration system, which closes on February 28, will stop people selling on their tickets for inflated sums. Says Eavis:
"It means unscrupulous people won't be able to sell their tickets on for a profit. I assure you that your details will not be used for any other purpose."
Those wanting to register should click here and fill in their details. Pre-registration does NOT guarantee you a ticket, which go on sale on April 1 for £150ish.
Organisers are refusing to fully confirm the line-up for this year's festival, which is due to take place from June 22 'til June 24, until tickets are on sale. Acts rumoured/self-confirmed to appear include The Who, Arctic Monkeys and Björk.
