Up-and-coming bands are still sending their demos to the home of the late John Peel, reports The Mirror.
The Radio 1 DJ died over two years ago at the age of 65, but his widow Sheila Ravenscroft is still receiving demos. She has been adding them to her late husband's huge collection, thought to extend to over 100,000 items in total. It spans 50 years of releases.
Sheila commented: "People send in their records and ask for them to be part of his collection. It feels a bit strange but it's nice to get them."
