After yesterday's reports of an alleged racist attack, Darren Hayes has come out to defend himself.
Well, through his lawyer at least.
“Darren is unable to comment to any extent as the incident is presently under investigation by the police, with whom he has cooperated fully.”
Unable to comment? Then how'd you explain THIS:
“However he is deeply upset at the allegation which he strenuously denies and anyone who knows Darren will recognise that the particular nature of the allegation is totally abhorrent to him and contrary to everything for which he has stood.”
Blublublublublugh. Hayes obviously doesn't stand for punctuation.
The attack is said to have taken place in London's Busaba Eathai restaurant on July 22nd; where staff allege that Hayes threw racially-motivated insults at a male member of staff.
