BSS' Jason Collett to play exclusive showcase
crablin by Colin Roberts March 6th, 2006

Broken Social Scene guitarist to play one-off free showcase in London, this Wednesday

Hey! You like Broken Social Scene, right? Their self-titled LP, released earlier this year was a rather splendid amalgam of genres, textures and vocals.

Jason Collett, vital guitar-shaped component of the supergroup and 'lynchpin of the Toroto music community' hits the UK shores an exclusive tiny showcase, this Wednesday.

His solo album, Idols of Exile was made album of the week in the Sunday Times BUT yesterday and is released (through City Slang/Arts & Crafts) on March 27th. You can, of course, expect to see a review on these hallowed pages in the very near future.

Jason Collett
Wednesday 8th March 2006
The Strongroom Bar, 120 Curtain Road, London EC2A

Entry is from 7.30pm, free of charge and there may just be some 'refreshments' on offer.

We also wangled a free download for you to enjoy, before a decision is made on your attendance.
See you there?
