New vinyl club courtesy of Melted Mailbox
domgourlay by Dom Gourlay April 12th, 2006

New York experimental label Melted Mailbox are starting a vinyl singles club with a difference in July.

The first series will feature six individually etched one-sided 12" singles mailed direct to your home address, two-at-a-time, every two months. All come wrapped in highly collectable handmade packaging and each single will contain previously unreleased material by each artist. In addition, each subscription will also include a membership card, postcards, stickers, pin badges, CDRs, unannounced bonus vinyl and many other bits'n'bobs.

Each of the artists picked for each series share a common bond in that they all have psychedelic and experimental leanings and also happen to be personal faves of the Melted Mailbox people themselves.

Series one will include slabs from Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Arrington De Dionyso (Old Time Relyjun), Carlos Giffoni, Dino Felipe, Keith Fullerton Whitman (aka Hrvatski) and Sunroof!. Series one is limited to 700 copies while the first 300 subscribers get limited edition CDRs too. Subscription for the first series is $90 or approximately £50.

For more information either contact melted@meltedmailbox.com or click HERE

DiScuss: I want a hand-etched Keith Fullerton Whitman record NOW.
