Scissors for Lefty tear up the UK
crablin by Colin Roberts April 26th, 2006

New Rough Trade signings head to the UK for debut shows and some good time lovin'. Probably.

Star date: 26-04-2006, on a trajectory bound from San Francisco, California, USA. Four danceable indie types head to the UK for a host of dates.

Scissors for Lefty are freshly-signed to Rough Trade over here and are popping over for their first UK jaunt, in support of debut single 'Ghetto Ways', released on May 28th.

The band are a hotch-potch of electronic lumpiness, semi-frenetic danceable rock and Rough Trade-trademarked indie attitude. They are, in this humble scribe's opinion, pretty darned good.

Check 'em out at one of these (rather numerate) sound explosions, or 'gigs'.
