There is something wholeheartedly unappealing about* Juliette And The Licks*.
The shockingly dull name aside, the hapless looks on the faces of those who provide Little Miss Hollywood with her bog-standard half-metal riffs are also instantly off-putting. Their latest single, 'Hot Kiss', sounds more like a lukewarm dribble from some tired old rocker's butt crack.
So uninspiring is this three-minute waste of studio time, it’s a wonder Lewis hasn’t been yanked back to Beverly Hills, no questions asked. It certainly doesn’t warrant merit as a worthy '70s rock pastiche, and if it’s claiming homage as an excuse for its tawdry, processed sound, then Lindsey Lohan is the next Aretha Franklin. Redundant rubbish.
