It may be a DISCO tune (ugh, run to the hills), it may be sung by a bunch of old blokes who are likely to be a one-hit-wonder if the rubbish B-sides are anything to go by, it may have an amusing yet disturbing video, it may be dumb, but it’s also irresistibly funky.

Ingredients for a hit single here: simple disco beat, meaningless lyrics about snogging and “fire in the gates of hell!”, a saxophone solo, and a ‘celebrity’ guest vocal by Jack White. Add to music TV channel playlists everywhere and ta-da! Watch this rocket up the charts.
