Single-handedly reviving the trans-atlantic travel industry, Thrills single no.3 is so breathy, it could embarrass an out of shape asthmatic.
It's another wonderful melange of Beach Boy harmonies, wistful lyrics, fat tunage and rustic guitar n' banjo, and it's all done with the grace and poise of a ballerina tossing someone off with a feather. What's it about? Well, largely, it's a barrel of whinging monkeys about girls buggering off at the end of the summer, back to Big Sur - naturally. But that's not important right now. What is, is that you take this to your heart and praise the glory of the continuation of that great summertime tradition; the hazy, lethargic, heat stricken lament.
Love it.
