Ooh, this is nice. A feisty female vocalist that slurs from the erratic to the sultry to the raucous and back again. Just about every male punk rock fans wet dream I should imagine. That and perhaps Brody Armstrong (sorry Dalle) waking them up with breakfast in bed and the offer of seconds! Mmmm… _Brody _shivers.
What? Oh, Rek. Sorry, yes this is good - well, promising. This 3-track demo is, in essence, a rock-ravaging romp of low-dirge punk ‘n’ roll that is raucous to the bone. Track 2 is probably the choice cut here, a snearing garage-garrotting racket recalling the old-skool blast of *Red Aunts *with a smidgen of *The Bronx *live-fast attitude.
But that said, it can be a bit touch and go especially with their less-than-impressive choruses, and I'm sure the aggression and energy could be pumped up a notch. But despite these criticisms there is no disputing that Rek feckin’ rock. They just need to work on those choons.
