well this happened to me today. I had just arrived in Barcelona, and I was listening to Yo La Tengo on the train as I sailed along in the (presumed) direction of Estacio Franca, I was dreaming about things ... little things .... you know pieces of paper ... things with messages on them ... important messages .... reservations ... the things you have to have on journeys ... like this one

Twenty minutes of distraction.

We enter a station .... EL CLOT. Fuck, I'm heading the wrong way!

Got out of that one thanks to Line 1 and the tram, phew.

Fortunately I brought my laptop. Frantic calls, desperate messages on DiS and Facebook.

I give up. Tomorrow I'm going to have blag for Britain.

Its 21.00, need food. Go to get a pizza in the mall, watch the game - on a TV 200 feet away, have a large brandy.

Return to my room, check messages RickyB saves the day, and my lovely old Mum and brother take the ticket to his house (I hope the right one).

Thank God for DiS, and for friends.

Anyone else felt, like a complete dick recently? I hope not.
