Has anyone been to one of those 'gentlemans dinners' held by a footballer? Where they do a little speech and you have a meal?
I've been offered a half price ticket for one for 'Razor' Ruddock, making it £20, but i have to travel over an hour on my own to meet a friend there. Is it worth it? What are the topics usually discussed? If he is just giving a half-arsed auto-biography then i'm not bothered, but if you could have a chat and a bit of banter then i'm sure it would be a fun night out.
