So, we've not even alluded as to whom our special guest is for our Birthday Party tomorrow @ the Marquee launch week in Leicester Sq central London. The wait (we bet you weren't really waiting) is over...
Drowned in Sound proudly presents Tim Arnold.
Whoooooooooo? If we were to say Dot Cotton, Monks, Pete Libertine, Jocasta, you’d know who we're talking about. Tim has been all over the tabloids and gossipy music weeklies this summer talking about the TKB Foundation, which a drug rehabilitation program offered for free by Thamkrabok Monastery in Thailand (for more on this please visit tkbuk.com thamkrabok.org ). What many folks have neglected is that Tim's made one of the most poinant, laid bare, self-exposed, debut albums of the year 'Lokutara'. We're proud to present ya'all with one of the finest, and soulfully proactive new talents in the country. And when Tim plays live he has some of the biggest names from Thailand in his band. Enjoy.
