DiS Xmas Party: Part 2. 18th Dec.
DiS Xmas Party: Part 2. 18th Dec.
sean by Sean Adams December 9th, 2002
Last Night... They came, they sold out the venue, they partied, and then left, late, drunk, ears a-ringin'..

Christmas is a time for giving and partying. We hope we pulled off both last night down in the depths of Brixton. The good news is, it's happening again soon..

Ok, so the staff ate (and dipped in drinks) most of the free sweets but those that came got a bbq and badges and bands! There was the rawk noize of Smother and Engerica, the poppier rock of The Primms, the humour-filled Fonda 500, the rock with a pop-grin from I Own Kings.. oh and those pesky special guests and band of the year, probably: MCLUSKY.

There will be a full report on last nights escapades later today, with loadsa piccies. But for now, we wanna warn you that it's happening EVEN LOUDER again soon (minus bbq)...

DiS Xmas Party : Part 2
Wednesday 18th December
@ Brixton Windmill.
PRICE: £3. TIME: 8-late.

TSUJI GIRI
...shards of angst, rivers of catharthis, raw, rough and LOWD like a lorry-full of fireworks crashing into a petrol station!
+ Haiku:My:Iq
..punkz from Edinburgh, full of grit and discontent!
+ Cars as Weapons
"the most cocksuckingly great wall of RAWK! noise you will hear until the CIA infiltrate Nick Oliveri’s porn operation" - PW. mp3
+ Repairman
..London duo playing folky, slightly Beta Band-y tunes.

Needless to say but this bill is absolutely kickarse! And there will be more free badges and our 'New Bands for 2003 / Best of the Windmill 2002' compilation should be onsale for a fiver too!

DiScuss: You comin'? Any requests for the deejay?
