Truck is over, but let us relive two of the festival's best at the Barfly this Friday!
Truck Nine: not only the best Truck Festival thus far, but one of the best all-round festival experiences of my musical life - which I'm sure is a widely held view.

Having ploughed our way through six stages over two days, DiS has returned. We'll be throwing extensive coverage your way this week, but why not relive two of the best acts from the fest by popping along to this month's Barfly shindig for drinks and fun?
:(colonopenbracket brought emoticore bleepgasms to the Trailer Park tent on Saturday afternoon and were the perfect post-rain pick-me-up. Mart and his pair of accomplices take their 8-bit and douse it in energy and instrumentation. Their debut split single sold out mega-quick and, with a new EP on the horizon, this is the prime time for your fill of Scottish emo-electro.

Foals
Oxford's very own Foals closed proceedings in the Trailer Park on Sunday night, clawing the remaining energy from Truck's attendees in a cavalcade of math-rock-infused dance. With intrinsically crafted rhythms bellow beneath piercing hands-in-the-air melodies and battling guitars, Foals are surely the true "new rave".

Do come down, whether you hit Truck or not - it's like the Reader's Digest version of the festival, with less mud (good) but also fewer banana smoothies and doughnuts (bad). If you did go, please shower before coming too.
Add yourself to this freakin' gig here! Do it like you're Bono! Do it like you're Suggs!
