Twist Amusin' To Teenagers
sean by Sean Adams May 14th, 2001
Post-noise-quartet Twist have been confirmed as support to MUSE @ Birmingham, Academy on 23rd May. The show is sold out, but anyone going, be sure to get there early - alternatively paint a water pistol silver and rob a ticket tout, it's only right.*

The next Twist single - being mixed as you read this - will be the eerily post-rock'ish 'Fourteen' with the b-sides 'Happy Where You Are' and 'Feed'. The bands manager commented "this single is probably the most commercial thing the girls have done to date, it's inevitable really..." Julian Standen, produced this single along with recent single 'Pieces' which is available now on ORG. The label and date for the new single is still be confirmed, we'll update you with the info as and when we have it.

Finally, remaining on a Twist note, rumour has it Twist were seen out and about last week swanking it up with Radio1 session meeester Steve Lamacq. Reports suggest they were in a curry house, eating curry! Hopefully, this links with the rumour of the girls playing Reading, after their recent appearance in session on Mr.Lamacq's show and coming runners up to Mogwai (who fans blatantly cheated!!) in the R1 Buzz Chart.
