Despite the overmarketing of their debut 'Up All Night' to the credibility point of no-return, Johnny & The Lights (aka Razorlight) have leapt from shows at the Astoria and Brixton Academy to selling out their, some of you might've said 'optimistic', 7,000+ capacity show at Alexandra Palace on February 11th.
To celebrate this feat and to push their luck that smidgen further, Razorlight have announced a 'due to demand' second night on February 12th. Tickets are priced at £18 and available from seetickets.com.
In other news, the band have been gagging to get back into the studio for much of the past year and DiS hears they're currently in the studio working on the second album. Also their postponed show supporting the Manics in Cardiff will now take place on January 11th.
DiScuss: Ha! In your face doubters! Anyone else felt strangely guilty for seeing through the overkill and realising 'Up All Night' is infact one of the pop albums of 2004? What do you expect the new stuff to sound like?
