As fans of The Wildhearts and of Ginger's numerous other projects prepare for a battering of gigs and record releases in June, there have been some hints that The Wildhearts will be releasing a new record. Although nothing with The Wildhearts ever goes according to plan, early indications are that the new release will take the form of a 7-track mini-album entitled 'The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed', currently planned for an October release.
While the Wildhearts and Silver Ginger 5 tours are still confirmed as announced in earlier DiS news items, the release date for Ginger's live acoustic album, 'Grievous Acoustic Behaviour', has unfortunately been put back to 11th June. Ginger's first solo single, 'I'm A Lover Not A Fighter', is currently set for release on 18th June.
