This is what they want, big news stories about what dangerous individuals they are. How their 'antics' are bigger, badder and more dangerous than anyone else. In a time of Keane, we need this but do we need criminal damage and assault in small venues run by good-hearted people, attended by the minority of people in this country who give a crapola about new music?
Following reports on DiS last week about trouble at their Cambridge show, news is in that Donny Tourette (real name Patrick Brannam), lead singer of overhyped poodle-punk band Towers of London has been charged with criminal damage and assault.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman told BBC Cambridgeshire "Patrick Brannam, of [leafy punk rock suburb] Buckinghamshire, had been charged with two counts of criminal damage and one of assault."
Paddy is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on 15th February.
