It wouldn't be a DiS event with your fill of new band delights
So, we're nearly there now. A couple more left to announce and fill your boots with. Today, we're unveiling the bleeding edge of the bill. The brand new artists whom have been plucked from the pack and presented for you at King's College, this Christmas.
These three have been hand-picked by the headlining band themselves, the identity of which will be revealed this week before we decamp to ATP for a weekend of debauchery.
Laura Groves is a very special 19-year-old hailing from Bradford. Her sublime voice and knack for penning a beautiful song. She'll be opening proceedings for the evening and you can find out more about her at her myspace.
The Courtesy Group hail from the so-hot-right-now mecca of Birmingham, yet are significantly better than The Twang. An eclectic, heady rock mix that has earned plaudits as wide as The Metro, John Peel (R.I.P) and the singer of our headline act. Definitely one to check out! Myspace!
Completing our line-up of fresh faces is The Bellagios. A delightfully multi-cultured, multi-faceted burst of colourful funky hip-hop fusion that will get the Christmas party started, without a shadow of a doubt!
Add these to our already-announced stars Jeremy Warmsley and GoodBooks, as well as more, bigger acts to come and it's shaping up rather sexily, I think you'll agree!
All profits will be donated by Drowned in Sound to Shelter, alongside 50p per ticket from the booking fee donated by the lovely folks at WeGotTickets.
