Despite the reports here on DiS, Super Furry Animals won't be playing at the Brixton Academy on Tuesday 2nd October. Bugger!

A spokesperson told nme.com that "The Super Furry Animals have not announced any forthcoming gigs at the Brixton Academy, London. The band are planning to tour sometime in the autumn. Details of these dates will be announced very soon."

Someone spent an awful lot of flyers for no reason.
