Austin instrumentalists My Education have teamed up with underground hip-hop behemoths Dälek to release what will surely be one of this year’s most surprising records.
The unlikely pair will each tackle Spiegel im Spiegel, a piece originally composed by the Estonian minimalist Arvo Part in 1978. The piano and violin composition will be put through the grinder, with both groups recording their own unique takes on the song.
Be sure to keep your eyes out for this one – it’s tentatively slated for release sometime this month.
