Grover Are Busy Brummies
jmoore by James Moore August 5th, 2001
Grover feature on two new compilations, release a single in Hong Kong and bring bad sendings.

The first is for Errol Records, the triple 7" single features the song 'Featuring A Simple Misunderstanding'by Grover, as well as songs from Cerberus Shoal, Hollowphonic, Giardini di Miro, Lemko Hall and dISOMA and is scheduled for release in October.

The second is for Jonson Family Records' forthcoming compilation, 'Two Minutemen'. This release features songs of no more than two minutes in length, by a bunch of fantastic bands. Bands that are to feature on the release are Billy Mahonie, Econoline, Reynolds, Grover, Hirameka Hi-Fi, Left hand, Southall Riot, Lapsus Linguae, Stanton, Jet Johnson, Cove, Stef Giaccone, Perturbazione, Klint, The Oedipus. It's going to be a double 7" and is to be released in November.

Grover are also due to release an E.P. on 3" CD format for Hong Kong's Teleran Records. They'll be distributed in Hong Kong, Japan, USA and UK. The band are "in the process of selecting tracks, with a release date to be sorted after that."

The bad news is that the split single with Jet Johnson for Big Scary Monsters has been postponed due to "rising pressing costs". Though plans are afoot to get another label to release it, but it's unlikely that anything will be out before the new year.
