Coming just after the release of new single ‘Valentine’ on the 28th of January, the former Pulp and Longpigs man will appear at these venues in 2008:
February
2 Hull City Hall
4 Cambridge Corn Exchange
5 Oxford New Theatre
6 Southampton Guildhall
11 Leicester De Montford Hall
14 Galway Rosin Dubh
16 Belfast Mandela Hall
18 York Grand Opera House
19 Buxton Opera House
Speaking to CMU about the track, Hawley explained: “It's quite tragic that song, it's like a kind of Yorkshire Shakespearian tragedy. It's about somebody who's made themselves really hard after heartbreak. I've been through that. I was there once in my early twenties before I met our lass, you make yourself into something you're not. The song is about a tender moment where you face the truth."
What is truth?
