As you may or may not know, Radiohead sent out a pre-recorded broadcast of songs and other AV ephemera on New Year’s Eve last year. The quintet’s Scotch Mist late show saw them play out In Rainbows in full, from their Oxford recording studio.
If you were, like any decent person, out enjoying all that 2007 had left to offer up on Monday night then you may or may not want to catch up with Scotch Mist - it’ll be on MTV2 this Sunday, 13th of January.

In other news, we’re filling out our daily Radiohead story with Thom Yorke’s claims in today’s Independent that his band’s most recent album is their masterwork.
Quote: “Our aim was to describe in 45 minutes, as coherently and conclusively as possible, what moves us. In Rainbows is, at least in our opinion, our classic album – our Transformer, our Revolver, our Hunky Dory.”
Bold claims, Yorke. Agree? Disagree? Quiver? Flounce?
