Adele is plotting to assemble a coven of former BRIT School girls for what she says would be “the best band ever”.
The 19-year-old has her sights set on Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, Lily Allen and Kate Nash for the as-yet-unnamed super-group, according to the Guardian, though as far as DrownedinSound’s aware Allen never studied at the fame camp.
She went on to explain to reporters that the quintet would “represent most women in the world”, the vast majority of the planet’s female population obviously comprised of white, middle-class drama students.
Still, they’re "not afraid to speak our minds… you don't need to be a doll with tanned legs, blonde hair, big boobs and good lips."
No, Adele, but young girls shouldn’t feel they have to resemble a trainee darts wag, either.
