Details: Coldplay's new album will be bullied at school
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly March 20th, 2008

Yesterday, news that Chris Martin’s new sprog had been christened made the majority of the world’s news pages. Seems his wild flair for nomenclature has crept into his professional life, Apple, 3, and Moses, 1, now joined by Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, as Coldplay ready their fourth album.

More details of the follow-up to 2005 effort X&Y have emerged today, as Martin comes eager with a tracklisting – which you’ll find below – and RollingStone.com propose a release date of June 17th.

Tracks mentioned in web posts for possible inclusion on Viva la Vida…:

‘Lovers in Japan’
‘Strawberry Swing’
‘Famous Old Painters’
‘Glass of Water’
‘Lost!’
‘Cemeteries of London’
‘Violet Hill’
‘Poppy Fields’
‘42’
‘Yes!’
‘Leftrightleftrightleft’
‘Rainy Day’
‘Prospekt’s March’

These come with the caveat that Martin previously expressed a desire for the Brian Eno/Markus Dravs-recorded, Frida Kahlo-inspired record to be nine tracks long, however, so we’ll have to watch intently to see which ones make the cut, won’t we?
