Amy Winehouse, Underworld, rest of world's population confirmed for Bestival
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly April 9th, 2008

The line-up for Bestival got bigger and better last night with the addition of a raft of acts so huge they'll probably end up outnumbering the Wight Islanders.

Most prominent among them are the jutting jaws of Amy Winehouse, who will headline the event on the Saturday.

Underworld will take over that duty the following night, while Hot Chip, Chromeo, Santogold and The Coral will all also be in attendance at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from the 5th ‘til the 7th of September.

The Sugarhill Gang will play an exclusive UK festival set, Paul Heaton (ex-Beautiful South) and Will Young will exhibit their talents, as will Alexa Chung during a DJ set… there’s a lot more, including performances from My Bloody Valentine, Aphex Twin and George Clinton who are already confirmed.
