DiS @ Summer Sundae: find out which of the new additions will be on our stage
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly April 9th, 2008

More acts have been announced for this year’s Summer Sundae Weekender – including the five acts who’ll make up DrownedinSound’s stage.

It’d be rude to jump in first, though, so here’s the full complement of new additions:

Reverend and the Makers
Henry Rollins
Jose Gonzalez
Joan as Police Woman
Howling Bells
Camera Obsura
Dodgy
Operator Please
Emma Pollock
Fuck Buttons
(pictured)
Alela Diane
Rod Thomas
Noah and the Whale
The Mae Shi
Youthmovies

That list of acts joins Supergrass, an acoustically-bent Coral, Simian Mobile Disco and Dirty Projectors at De Montfort Hall and Gardens in Leicester from the 8th ‘til the 10th of August.

And us? Well, we’ve pulled some tasty rabbits from the hat - Fuck Buttons, Howling Bells, Noah and the Whale, Youthmovies and The Mae Shi will be gracing the DiS stage.

Tickets for the festival – the only where you’ll be able to see Fuck Buttons and Dodgy all summer, we’d wager – cost £104 with camping and booking fee from Tixmob.com. There are a variety of ‘men, women and their babes’ options available if you want to take your kids along to laugh at that funny Henry Rollins man.
