Earthtone 9 call it a day
mIossifidis by Miranda Iossifidis March 25th, 2002
Joe Roberts from Earthtone 9 has issued a statement basically saying that after the forthcoming April headline tour, the band are to be no more.

Stating that: "the future of earthtone 9 has been hanging in the balance for a while" he admits that they were "not all pulling in a unified direction with where they believed the music should be heading, and that without a sense of common purpose it was inevitable this would lead to the end of the band."

He nevertheless adds that "the last six years have been full of good times, laughs, stress, excitement, boredom and fulfillment and I feel grateful to have played my part in a band that achieved much more success than I ever dared hope for."

For full details go to the official Earthtone 9 message board. Earthtone 9 play their final gig at the Garage, London on April 13th with Waterdown.
