Universal Music is to re-issue Metallica's seminal Kill 'Em All (1983), Ride The Lightning (1984) and Master Of Puppets (1986) albums on August 4, on deluxe vinyl.
The band's first three LPs are regarded as groundbreaking releases in the rock and metal fields, and now young fans will be able to get their hands on some very pretty indeed versions of them.
The specs: double gatefold, two disc, 180 gram, 45 rpm. The audio is half-speed mastered from the original analogue tapes. What does that mean? Who cares: it'll sound like Metallica, probably.
