While that sounds odd for a band who released 6 albums in their career, their next - and presumably - last will be an albums worth of unreleased material from 1991, entitled 'Concrete', it's a release long-rumoured and talked about by the band.
Produced by nu-metal guru Ross Robinson (producer of Amen, Slipknot, Korn etc) over a decade ago, 'Concrete' will comprise of 16 tracks. Many of which were re-recorded in different versions for their offical debut 'Soul Of a New Machine', as well as tracks never otherwise released. Big guitarist Dino De Cazares says..."Honestly, I think 'Concrete' sounded better than 'Soul of a New Machine'". You'll have the chance to find out on July 29th, when it's released.
The tracklist is as follows...
'Big God/Raped Souls'
'Arise Above Oppression'
'Concrete' (previously only available on B-side)
'Crisis'
'Escape Confusion'
'Sangre De Ninos' (released under the band name 'Factorio De Miedo' on a compilation )
'Soulwomb' (only available on b-side)
'Echoes Of Innocence' (unreleased)
'Dragged Down By The Weight Of Existence' (unreleased)
'Deception' (unreleased)
'Desecrate'
'Sufferage'
'Anxiety' (unreleased)
'Self Immolation'
'Piss Christ' (later re-recorded for 'Demanufacture')
'Ulceration' (unreleased)
(except where mentioned above, all tracks were re-recorded for 'Soul Of a New Machine')
While this may sound exhaustive, it still leaves a great many released tracks currently unavailable: possibly for a another future release? (tracks such as on the 'Gabber mixes' 12" on Mokum records, the remixes from the 'Cars' singles and various others off soundtracks and compilation cds...)
'Concrete' is released through Roadrunner Records on July 29th.
