Morning all. As our peers gently simmer in a vat of end-of-decade nostalgia, DiS towers is awash not with dewy-eyed nostalgia, but an impatient urge to plough forwards. Why? Partly because of we'd really like to find out what the hell the next decade's collective name is going to be. Partly because we're saving our looking back for next year, DiS's tenth birthday. But mostly because we're super-excited by all the great music to look forward to... so without further ado, we welcome you to our 2010 preview week.

Kicking things off, we are beyond thrilled to offer you this exclusive video postcard from the mighty Liars, who've been holed up in LA for the duration of 2009 penning fifth album Sisterworld (more info here). No idea if any of the accompanying music is on the record, but 'spooky' and 'percussive' would seem to be the watchwords. Fans of apostrophes - brace yourselves. Everyone else - enjoy.
