It should be no surprise to you that Future Islands are one of our current favourite bands after producing one of our favourite albums of the year, In Evening Air. Heavy rotation indeed. Last week we mentioned that they'd be releasing a new EP, an acoustic one. We look forward to it. There was also a free mp3 available, more deets here.
A video of them performing one of their tracks live and acoustically has also just surfaced. It's for 'Vireo's Eye' and can be watched below. It goes a bit fuzzy at points, but is still a fair representation of their music in this style. Great it is.
