The people behind the campaign to save endangered music venues have invited DiS to chair a discussion entitled: Making Good Venues Great.
The talk will take place on Venues Day 2014 (Tuesday 9 December) at the Southbank Centre in that London. It is the first national event specifically designed to celebrate small and medium scale independent live music venues across the UK, bringing together professionals from the sector to network, share ideas and views and plan the way forward.
People 'in the biz' can apply for tickets now, and over the coming weeks DiS will be exploring some of the topics that we feel should be debated and venues that should be celebrated.

What makes a good venue into a great venue? What could venues do more of to increase their value to music fans and to musicians? How do we reach new audiences and talk to the industry better?
