Mogwai have confirmed that their new album, due out on April 23rd will be called 'Rock Action'.
The album, which will be released through Southpaw, was produced by Dave Fridmann, who has previously worked with Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev. According to the band's US label, Matador, Mogwai "seem to be expanding their loud/soft guitarscapes into a symphonic sound based around guitar and piano but augmented with voice, strings, brass etc and with a much more mature sense of dynamics."
