Acts confirmed for VH1 Awards 2002
rpearce by Rebeckah Pearce November 25th, 2002
Performers such as Christina Aguilera and Bon Jovi have been announced to headline the VH1 Big in 2002 Awards, following their respective performances at the MTV Europe Awards.

The equally leather-loving Christina and Jovi will also be joined by mellow songstress Norah Jones for the Los Angeles based ceremony on December 5.

The VH1 Big In 2002 Awards, taking place in LA’s Grand Olympic Auditorium, will recognise the year’s best music, films, television, and stars from all walks of celebdom.

The ceremony, which will be hosted by 'Sopranos' stars Drea De Matteo and Michael Imperioliat, will feature such categories as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (the year’s catchiest songs), Been Caught Scene Stealin’ (for 2002’s most unexpected outstanding movie performance) and Do I Look Fat In This Fight (for girls who’ve kicked some arse this year).

VH1 Big In 2002 Awards will be screened on VH1 UK on New Year’s Day at 8pm, which should be about the time you stop chucking up from the night before.
