After two years, three limited 7"'s, 'antisocial' the album, a xmas single, tours with: Seafood, Wilt and iDLEWiLD; Turn have parted company from Infectious
One of Drownedinsounds big tip's for this year are Dublin three-piece Turn. They have recently parted company with their label infectious, after what appeared - from the outside at least - to be a slow trickling success. But that clearly is not the case, singer Ollie Cole had this to say on the bands website in his diary entry:
**"In short i can't say enough bad things about our record company Infectious. they told us lies, mislead us , wasted two years on us. They promised us they were in it for the "long haul" and that they knew it was gonna take time to break a band like us. However as the year progressed it just got more and more difficult to get money out of them for anything. the more they got used to saying NO they better they got at it. They would not give us money for videos, posters, equipment, anything."
"However! don't despair we already have a few interested parties and we are on our way to the great oll USA this month (march) to play for some rich fat cats. The new material we are writing is by far the best music yet.."* and that can only be a good thing. *begins to hold breath
